i believe road tripping has always been my answer since i was legally allowed to drive. i come by it honestly: either my maternal grandmother mamie, was often on the road driving between alabama & nashville to visit us or charlie monk was always asking us, the neighbors (or anyone actually) “want to go for road trip this afternoon? maybe get a blizzard?” therefore it is not shocking my reflex to finding "an answer" is simply to drive.Read More

PRoj&ct GiRL consulting celebrates 6 years today!! yay! whoo hoo!
yep, i am pretty proud, as I have poured my heart & soul into this small business. there have been truckloads of blood, sweat & tears, along with a ton of joy & sense of accomplishment.
i started PRoj&ct GiRL consulting because:
1) helping others is seemingly a natural response for me. what i do by ticking something off a client’s TO DO LIST sometimes takes away their overwhelming sense of chaos or dread.
2) i love problem solving, which is most likely causing my math professor to turn over in her grave. i did not understand the concept back in high school, but then again i wasn’t applying it to every day life. that “aha” moment is my favorite.
3) truthfully, i am a bad employee. i have a lot of ideas & being told no simply doesn’t go over well. i break a lot of rules. asking for forgiveness is easier than permission.
4) i love a good “before & after.” watching a PRoj&ct come to fruition warms my heart. taking something someone is struggling with, then making it beautiful again is a win – win.
i love what i do. i am lucky to live in a country, which gives me such freedoms, especially as a female business owner. i have terrific family & friends who helped me get started & i acquire the greatest clients every day. waking up knowing there is new adventure to be had is one of life’s little pleasures.
thank you for all the love, support & all the feels over the years. i love every minute.
if you are new to PG, i look forward getting to know you. my wish is for other individuals; for women & men to be able to create a job they love, self-employed or employed.
so, i leave you with a quote from my favorite president & my coffee mug this morning…
“do what you can, where you are, with what you have.” - theodore roosevelt
peace, love & gratitude.
